Soup Recipe - Detox Staple

Here is bunch of pictures of type of soup we can make for supplementary meal during detox stage.  Most of the soup is clear one using simple ingredient like anchovies, dried mushroom and red date as flavoring agent.  Main ingredient is pumpkin, sweet potatoes, winter melon, corn, carrot, petola, tomato and tofu.  Cooking steps are very simple


  1. Boil water then add anchovies, red date and/or mushroom.
  2. Add main vegetables like pumpkin and/or corn, carrot etc.
  3. Add harder veggie first and softer one last.

For this soup, pumpkin, tomato and tofu, add one more step.
  1. Cook longer till the pumpkin and mushroom soften.
  2. Meshed or blend them to puree the pumpkin/tomato combo.
  3. I just use ladle to smash pumpkin inside the pot.
  4. Add tofu and cook a bit more and you are ready to eat.  Yum.
  5. You can pesto for this soup too but that is a more advanced version.

Possibility is endless and so is the veggie.  We can use unripe papaya too with red date combo but hard to find organic papaya.
Note: try to use organic material as much as possible.  Organic veggie is expensive but obtainable from Tesco so is organic tofu and mushroom.
